What I am afraid of is that it is a larger version of the 600...and having the same issues with text quality... I hope not.

This is great news, even though it's $100 more than the Kindle. I'm still on a PRS-500, and I've been thinking of upgrading for Christmas. This looks like it'll be right on time.

One thing that I'll be very interested to see is if links in an ebook will be active, or if they really do lock it down to the sony store. Wikipedia access is a great thing, but I'm not eager to become an Amazon customer.
