It makes me a bit relieved as I will probably have to buy from another European country, and since you can't replace the dictionary, I wouldn't want to end up with a German or Dutch or French one, since I only need an ENglish. |

I know in japan sony has an e-reader where you can use different dictionaries on memory card. my wife was showing me on their site once. seemed like quite a few different dictionaries so I guess it would be possible to use whatever system they are using on these.

a system like that would be really worth looking into. i'm hoping someone can figure out a way to look how the integrated dictionary works, and then allow you to add your own.

their reader sort of resembles the kindle in style.. http://www.sony.jp/products/Consumer...00EP/acce.html and here's the site translated by google http://translate.google.com/translat...%26rls%3Den-us they seem to have german to japanese etc translation dictionaries. and have the fench one too. ![]() I just too two photos - not under a sun, it's overcast - but directly under a halogen lamp. They show how the screen and the case reflects light. |

In the photos it was a strong halogen bulb, 15 cm from the screen, as I tried to show how there's very little, if any, glare from the casing, even if it's a light metallic colour. The screen doesn't bother me with 'normal' use. |
