The Books on Board Opus Portal has a help page with screenshots of how to authorize a device (connected via USB) for Adobe Digital Editions. This should work exactly the same on an EZ Reader with mobile ADE firmware.

As stated, first install ADE - then start ADE - then connect the Ez-Reader via USB - a dialogue box will pop up asking to authorize the Ez-Reader.

Worked flawlessly for me.

there is a new firmware update today. This one looks to be a lot newer.
This time the bin file has the correct name.

The news leaked out early with our website not ready. Kacir tried it and the website showed you have to buy both EZ Readers. You do not!

The problem was fixed and you can order either one safely!

As mentioned, we were to release the news next Wednesday so the website was not ready. The arly leak is what caused the problem. Everything is fine now!!

I could not read DRM-free eReader (PNPdPPrs) ebooks - they are not even listed. However, PalmDOC (TEXtREAd) ebooks are readable. Both are in .pdb files, as are several other ebook formats (wiki: PDB). Since the eReader app will read PalmDOC files too, perhaps that is what you tried. The way to tell is to use an editor to look for the File Code.

Robertb has said that eReader will be added later.

There is a problem on the website. The intro needs to go away and fast. It's just annoying and noisy. There really is no need for it anyway. Normally, all it would do is get me to go away and you would lose a possibly interested customer.
