Booken Opus works perfectly with Transcend microSDHC 4 GB. I like very much this new ebook reader (I use ADE for DRM, but I prefer Calibre for non-DRM as it creates folders by author names and make navigation very easy on Opus)

Just to note that the card works on every other device I try it on.

Seems like the opus is picky towards which cards it would accept in its slot!

Is the card contacts clean? On the microSD it's so easy to put dirt on them...

I actually removed the microSD from the opus and inserted into an adaptor which then went into the PC, I did that several times (plus format the card and populated it with ebooks) and always I would get the drive on the PC side with no problems, but not on the opus

I think that I understand what is the problem, I have too a SD card that was not "recognized" by my Gen3, and others that was, and in fact the problem is really simple, the Cybook seems to expect from a SD card to have a MBR partition scheme, not a SD card used without like it's often the case...

For the person who can undestand, the SD card can be used directly without partitions, (ie in linux: /dev/mmcblk0 ) and if I create partition using fdisk on my SD card it will work (and then I have a /dev/mmcblo0p1 on my computer with the new partition)

I'm not sure that just reformat the SD card under windows would be sufficient...

I hope that Bookeen will correct this soon

No not on USB flash drive, Memory cards (SD/MMC/CF & co) CDROM and floppy disk

Partition are only needed on Hard Drives

note that inserting the 256 and 1Gb brings up both microSD root directory on the device and when on comp I can see the microSD drive.

with the other cards the opus indicator goes blue for few seconds, and nothing happens.

Strangely I do not know why the 2GB is not working, its not a HC microSD...
8GB is working for me. But I'm copying the books manually to the card via USB adapter, as it's not visible (accessible within ADE.

SanDisk 8GB works fine on mine. Both in regular mode and in folder mode. Now I haven't loaded it up with 8GB of stuff, but what I did load onto it is working without problem.
