I have the Sangria RED 505, and I waited until I could get RED. It has to be RED.

I have the old-style M-edge RED cover and it goes wonderfully! I keep it in my purse at all times - the cover is very sturdy and protective and I love the way it feels, looks and smells. I'm very confident with it - it's a good case.

I live alone so don't really need booklights - I bought the Mighty Bright one because I found it cheap and it comes highly recommended by the other users here, but it's not the best booklight I've ever used. The best book light I've ever used is apparently no longer made, or I'd recommend that one (even though it was rather bulky).

If I were buying a second cover, I'd get green. I love green and RED together.

Well, the good news is that my 505 is on a UPS truck out for delivery Whoooo!

Still haven't made any big decisions on covers/cases, etc. But I did order this case from Etsy that I think will look awesome w/ the red in the meantime!!

OOOh that's purty! I hope you love it! They are great covers. I love that since they slip on they give you some pockets in your Reader! That's where I put all of my important stuff

I have been wondering, but the general meaning was always clear enough so I didn't think of looking it up.

Heh, I guess you need to say it with a southern inflection to get it

Probably Dictionary.com says it's dialect. I learned British English in school - sometimes American conventions (and slang/dialect) throw me.

Don't feel bad, it's not a real word. Just spelling it like how some people say it

I'm fine It's like 'catsup' I guess? I thought for a long time that a lot of people online couldn't spell 'jewellery' (jewelry) - turned out it was actually correct.

Ok so my reader is here. I don't know what I was worried about, the red is GORGEOUS. It's a lovely, rich, beautiful color and it's dead sexy.

I really need a zippered case for my purse and they all look so ugly.

But I have 14 books loaded on my reader already and I'm in love. Haven't tried to tackle Calibre or any of that stuff yet, it arrived at noon today and I didn't even get to open the box until after 9 pm, was a busy busy run run run kind of day! But now I'm

OT- there are differences between UK spellings, too. All over the UK you see signs for 'Jewellers" and "Jewellery Stores." So depending on who is writing it, both can be correct, lol!

Congratulations! Yes, isn't it neat? I've had a couple of other ereaders, but the Sony was the first one that didn't have that gadgety feeling, I just kept wanting to turn the page like in a p-book.

M-Edge's covers are nice and sturdy, even if they are not zipper-closed. And the strap closure is quite secure.

I've always thought 'jewellery' is the 'correct' British spelling and jewelry is American English - so I wouldn't be surprised at seeing it in UK...

I went the way of armor case because it seems sturdy and zippered and sand, dirt, coins, or fluids will not get into it , compared to the others people have mentioned. I keep it in my cargo pants and I heard enough horror stories about the screen cracking because it's made of fragile glass , that I don't want to take any chances. It's double covered because the original cover is on it too and I unzipper it in 2 seconds and I'm reading right away. And at home I leave it on table unzippered . It has handle in back and I slip a finger through it and hold the book that way and turn pages with thumb, one handed and if it ever falls it's protected. My thought was I rather be safe than have a pretty cover and a broken screen! But everyone has to decide how they want to play the KEEP IT SAFE game. I just didn't want to kick myself down the road because I didn't do everything I could to protect it. Think GLASS! If the screen was plastic or a harder material I would go PRETTY case. ONE drop and it's all over, does your purse ever drop on the floor from table. I have dropped it going into car with armor case and no problem. It' not like you are always gonna being thinking, "don't drop it" , my mind is on other things, so I need to have something that I don't have to worry , if I drop it. Look at thread on this board about cracked screen and it's expensive to fix. Also it's not like an Iphone or smaller mp3 player/video screen , it's more surface area so you have to be very careful about flexing too. My itouch has a cover but I think the screen is harder material than this sony ereader. Hopefully in future they will have hard plastic-scratch resistant screen , but it's not out yet for these ereaders.

Thank for you for this post. I did get the M-Edge cover and like it a lot, but still feel that it's not very well protected. I really wish I could find a hard clamshell storage case but I am having zero luck. Would you mind posting pictures of your reader in the Armor case?

Check the pictures of it on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/BookArmor-Trav...9323729&sr=1-5

http://www.amazon.com/BookArmor-Trav.../ref=pd_cp_e_1

There are 4 or 5 pictures on one link and other pictures on the other. It should give you idea of what it looks like with 505.

And each one has 6 user reviews they are all different , so 12 reviews with I think 11 5 stars and 1 3 stars.
