So I'm stuck inside a literary event horizon with a multi-culturally witty group of thinking people with no chance of escape: "...come to a bad end, very enjoyable."

I find that my MR addiction and my reading addiction balance. When I spend more time on MR I read less, and when I read more I have less time for MR.

I have worked out ways to fit both in several times a day and everything's fine, although I don't see my family very often ... but at least it's cheaper than an ebay addiction

maybe you need to write a book about your family and post it on MR.. then you can spend some time reading about them... that like spending time with them right?

Well, you could always join the class action lawsuit we've got going, but first you have to read the entire thread to understand what it's all about...

Catch 22 is a book by Joseph Heller. I had to read it in high school. The movie is Alan Arkin funny, so it is funny in an intellectual chuckle and not guffaw sort of funny. And now this thread is hijacked onto a track about books!

I personally think it is cool how so many of our members have spread their wings and flown as budding authors!

Hmmm. Is MR addiction genetic? Is there a DNA test for it?

And why is this thread making it sound like a problem....

Hi. My name is VR and I am an MR addict. I keep telling myself that I'm going to stay away but I keep coming back. The bacon in The Llounge is just too good.

Why, sure it's genetic, why do you think I'm here now? Dad just passed it on, along with is taste for reading and drinking beer (preferably not at the same time though)!
