I really don't think someone should pay me for that!
![]() I found a free test on the net, but it's in French. It says I should do infant care or be a kindergarden teacher. Which makes sense. |

I was very lucky. By the time I took a career test in high school I knew exactly what I wanted to do and the results reflected that. It's what I have trained for and have been doing for the 34 years since. If you don't know what you want to do that you're capable of doing, I can only recommend that you get up and go physically meet and talk with people who work for a living. It's surprising what you learn when you talk to people about the way they spend almost half of their waking hours. And most of them don't seem to have jobs that were in the career tests (or, not in the one that I took or the ones my kids took).
LOTR? I'm probably Grima Wormtongue. Or maybe just one of the puddles that somebody stepped in along the way to the Black Gate. |

Oh no, I'm supposed to be Frodo !!
Who knew he was into big axes ? As for the career, part of it reflects my choice, and part reflects what I could get. Had I been accepted at another school, I would have been more hardware- than software-oriented, but it would still have been closely related to computer science. I was also intetested in Linguistics, but litterary studies didn't motivate me, so I stick to speaking several languages. Last edited by Gaurnim; 07-17-2009 at 10:29 AM. Reason: add career comment |
