The Silly Things We Do - Page 2

We were remodeling our house for a couple of month and had a temporary door on, somehow the lock was put on backwards so you had to turn it clockwise to open the lock and counterclockwise to lock it.

Once the remodeling was done they put up a new door with a lock on the right way, just when i got used to doing it backwards

Now i can´t seem to get used to doing it the "right" way.

Almost every time I get home from school there is someone usually cooking or doing something in the living room so they leave the front door closed but unlocked. When i walk up to my house I always end up locking the door, turning the doorknob and smiling at myself for locking the door and THEN trying to open it

About 15 years ago...

I had two pair of loafers, identical in every way except colour. One pair was light tan and the other black.

One morning on the way to work I had to stop by the bank to get some cash.

I stepped out of the car and walked toward the bank and noticed I had on two different coloured shoes. I went back to the car and immediately went home to correct the colour mismatch.

This is back when I could remember things.

I'd be careful doing that sort of thing outdoors. If the wind picks up all your numbers will blow away. (Honestly, I've seen it happen.)

I always see this happening with the alphabet, then they condense and I always caught in storms of "C's A's T's D's O's G's" all the time. And sometimes M's E's and N's! So frustrating!!

My bad habit is my horrible vernacular. Many a time I have said "elle oh elle" or "oh eme gee" in a phone conversation!!!
