Nice to see sunspots coming back at last . I've been a bit worried about what was going on up there.

Right now, 28 outside and 30 here at the computer. Fortunately the weather service says that today's highs will only be 27 so God has made a temporary error in the outside temps. As soon as he/she receives the corrective memo it should cool down a bit.

16 C with humidity at 71% (hasn't changed much all day, tons of showers and thunderstorms as well). Got to love the English summer

It's evening so I'm fairly sure it's below 20 C here, but I'm not the best person to ask - I'm always colder than everyone else. In the winter I regularly wear my coat sitting at my desk and working and I bought fingerless gloves so I could keep them on whilst typing/writing.

Definitely warmer than most of last summer and the one before though - I am using my summer duvet for the first time since 2006 (at the moment it has a blanket on top of it, but my winter duvet is far too warm, so it's a bit of a compromise).

Here in Sydney its 9C. (8:15 a.m.) That's coming from a low of 8 and heading for a top of 16. Mind you, we still have 3 more weeks of winter to go.

I prefer this to summer when it can be over 40C in the day and near 30 at night with high humidity and, as Harry said, it's not easy to sleep.

Well, they are just plain wrong. That's a buzz-word that misleads people into thinking that it's just going to get warmer everywhere. Global Climate Disruption is really what is going on. So to the IPCC and the WMO for using the English language so sloppily.

32.8 Celsius (91 Fahrenheit) over here right now. Luckily I've got a nice electric fan to blow air into me.

Yes, or just simply climate change. It's been that since the concept of "Global Warming" has been essentially debunked. But, as exemplified by the recently passed so-called “cap-and-trade” legislation in the US, politicians with agendas are still riding that dead horse.

Indeed I did Warmer today, 13° C - cold for Sydney during winter.. although it doesn't your compatriots coming here to holiday
Actually it's historically warm for Sydney; I was reading the history of Sydney colony during the late 1700s and there were subzero winters here..
