The place for the Scandinavian party will as usual be announced on the party board and hopefully in the newsletter. I assume it is in a room at the party hotel (Delta). Only English will be spoken. This is a public general party.

So: I don't know yet for the wi-fi access, still awaiting for an answer. I'l try to call again tomorrow.

I had this idea, if you're all game: every Saturday night at 10 pm there is a big firework show on St-Laurent river, and August 8th is South Africa's presentation. I know a few good spots from where we could watch this, but it implies taking cars or the metro (direct commute). Maybe we could go after dinner? Please?

Will Jacques Cartier bridge be closed for the occasion this year?
It used to be that they shut down traffic so people can walk over and admire the fireworks. The bridge is 2km long.

BTW I'm bringing my camera.

Yep, they close the bridge but I've been on it once to check out the fireworks and it's LOADED with people. But it really could be worth going there!

This is going to be fun!

Z, I'll send you pictures and movies, it's the least we could do since you've all been kind enough to keep us informed of the several aperos in Paris.

You can use the clothes you plan on wearing around Montreal as the padding. But we really need an accomplice to put you in the shipping container...
