Wow, thanks for such a warm welcome

Well, I have been playing around - managed to get Calibre to work in Vista 64 by setting it to xp compatibility and i then discovered the pdf to lrf conversion.

I am very happy now

Thanks so far for the assistance

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your reader as much as I enjoy mine. Once you get over all the formats then you will find the amazing aray of all the accessories you just gotta have! I tried Calibre but found it all to hard and buy my books from the sony store or use epub format. I mean who needs more complication in their lives.

Enjoy your reader.

You know what, I take back what I said about rtf vs. lrf to some degree. If you have an rtf with odd formatting, often a conversion to lrf in Calibre will clear up a lot of issues. It inserted paragraph indents, line spacing, margins, and cover art that made the book a lot more attractive on the reader.

A lot of rtf's work fine without a conversion, but the default format for lrf looks really nice through Calibre.
