rebarnmom: You might want to look into Postcrossing. In addition to sending postcards and receiving them -- you have to send a card to get a card -- the site has cool maps showing where your cards have gone & where you've gotten cards from. And other geography stuff. Such as: " Andorra is a country in Europe with a population of 72,000 habitants." -- there are 2 members of the Postcrossing site from Andorra. I'm "Elsi" over there as well as here.

That looks like a great site. I bookmarked it to study it further. I know some other homeschooling moms that would also find that interesting! Thanks for the link!

Right now her favorite show is Wipeout! In the fall it will be Heroes. I'm afraid that she's never been a Hannah Montana fan, probably because we don't get cable, only network and PBS channels. When she's at G&G's (grandma & grandpa's), it all Animal Planet and Food Network shows for her!
