I didn't take me ebw1150 to Disney the last time we went because it is on the heavy side and I lug enough stuff around as it is.

We recently went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and I brought my Sony. It's size made it easier to carry than my ebw. I don't go on the water rides (I make my husband take the kids ), so that wasn't an issue. My biggest problem is that even though I have my reader and am perfectly content actually reading with it, my family keeps talking to me. It's bad enough I have to stand in lines, but then not to even let me read. ARG!!

What's even worse, all the people saying, "Hey! Is that the Kindle?"

Reading on Space Mountain - I love it!

This was a one-day treat for myself: I flew down early in the morning, and flew back home late that night. A long-overdue day where my only thoughts were about the park and the rides - and none about work and other responsibilities.

It's been many years since I visited Disneyland, and it was well worth all the little hassles (flight time, airports, and the ride lines). I'm still smiling !!!

No, but if I did I'd read "Down and out in the Magic Kingdom" by Cory Doctorow!

Maybe why 5 inch is good move

Dear ALL:

I have taken my EZ Reader to Disney itself but not to Disneyland.

Maybe the ideal reason for why people want a 5 inch is for scenarios like a trip to Disneyland. You can slip a 5 inch EZ Reader Pocket PRO in your front pants pocket and have it safe. I know, after all my trips with my "Old Blue" EZ Reader where I handed it to people to look at and they dropped it off the table or on the floor... I would not need to worry about the device actually taking the pounding of the most severe rides at Disneyland.

I think it is more convenience than worry about the rides hurting the devices. Just maybe that is why the 5 inch device is generating a lot of interest!

I did take my reader with me to Disneyworld. I had it in my shoulder bag. Also had the camera as well. No problems at all.

the small lockers are now $7, but you can open and close them over and over all day without paying again.

Dixiegal- yeah they EB1150 seem to be very sturdy! There is something to be said for having a little reader that you are not afraid of squishing. I wish they would come out with a new verision of it!

I had my 505 in my cargo pants pocket at Disneyland and California Adventure, 2 days each, in February. No problems.
