Amazon has M-edge covers (discontinued version) for $14.99. Only color left is saddle brown.

Just FYI.

Just a tip for those who didn't know...The PRS-700 M-edge covers on Amazon are still discounted and they fit the PRS-505 perfectly. I just ordered my PRS-700 cover for $14.99 from Amazon.

One difference between the new and old covers is that the spine on the new ones is thicker. I guess this is for the reading light. Someone on another thread found it a bit uncomfortable and preferred the PRS-700 cover which has a thinner spine over the new PRS-505 covers. This is also obvious in the pictures on their site for each of these covers, where the cover is folded back on itself.

Darn

Had I done a little more research I would have been able to get a darker cover for 14.99 instead of two of the same color. If only I had known the PRS 700 cover fit the PRS 505.

I guess that is what I get for not researching enough and trying to get free shipping (on an order over $25).

Tempting, but I love the stock (brown) cover. It is so thin and lightweight.

I've seen the M-Edge for the Kindle 1 and it made the reader look ginormous! Also, the room for the integrated light made it way too awkward (especially when folding back to read w/one hand).

How is the 505 thickness compared to the stock Sony cover?

Check the pics here:

The PRS-700 M-edge cover actually doesn't have the bulky spine for the extra light, so it is slimmer and folds back easily on itself. This makes it a nice cover for the 505 too. And it's $15
