Although, I could use some sunscreen (haven't bought it this year yet.) I was in sweats last week with the heater on and today is on its way to 110!

The Big Lebowski, no doubt. Great movie!

I'd also recommend making white russians and sipping them while watching it.

Never been much for movies. I generally like the book better.

Watch these:

1. Steel Magnolias

2. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (on "mute" while listening to "Dark Side of the Moon")

3. Anything starring Lance Henricksen, especially if it is made-for-TV by SciFi channel.

Don't know about Wizard of Oz (yes I had some strange experiences with that and drugs as a youngster) but Lance Henriksen is a God Amongst Men!

I love him in Millennium, one of my all-time favourite TV shows, and he's fantastic in Near Dark as the vampire.

You know about the Wiz and Pink Floyd, right? Supposedly they wrote "Dark Side of the Moon" while watching it over and over. If you start the movie and album together, it makes a perfectly synchronized sound track. For instance, while she's singing "Over the Rainbow," the sound of jets flying overhead happen while her face and eyes seem to track a jet in the air. Eerie. And it really works. You MUST do it.

Tim and I watched it like that the first time in a comedy club. It was a special "event" and the place was packed. Then the music came on over the sound system and the movie began up on the wide screen, and it was totally freaky.
