Can we not use "poof"? Kinda makes me nervous. I like Am's version - "poit!". Would that be a satisfactory alternative?

I googled it, and that is exactly what it looked like. Bigger than the greys that were running all around. But from what I read, it is only in the Rocky Mts. How could it have been in NE Alabama?

that is a very good question! they are fairly aggressive for squirrels and will run out all the others.
