I've not come across that yet, and from what I understand, it's only for a small selection...

And those copyright laws are crazy, but that's a whole other can of worms! I just hope Amazon won't miss the boat by being so ... hmmm... punctious (is that even a word?). It could be by the time they finally do decide to cross both oceans (east and west), the market will be much smaller as other webshops will have stepped in.

No lying at all. I have a checking and savings account in the U.S. that I still maintain and actively use to purchase things. I move money from one bank here in Peru to the U.S. And I also have a Paypal account.

Whenever I want to buy something from Sony, I just use my U.S. credit card.

I am sure there are about 50 overlapping patents in the ebook reader area. The lawyers will sure make a lot of money out of this when they come to court.
