I personally like the name Kindle, with the English lexicon quickly becoming depleted for marketing names I think this was a good choice. And I have to second the call for the above wambulance...

Whenever I hear Kindle I first think of the Indling song by Dave Lister;

"Our love I tried to kindle
Like firelight it dwindles
Now I wonder when this wind'll
Ever stop."

one of the many hats I wear is training adults to be Girl Scout Leaders, and my specialty is camping. we have an entire section on fire building, using coconut shreds as tinder, pretzel sticks as kindling and tootsie rolls as fuel. obviously my association with the word is rather fond.
