Oh I'm so looking forward to the changes in the PDF metadata writer
I have turned off PDF metadata writer since 0.5.10 because it doesn't work most of the time in OS X. It just hangs the programme.

yeah i've switched to using the podofo library, which should fix it in OS X as well.
