Unhappy

Links don't work, so a TOC isn't very useful.

Yes, fortunately text search capability provides a work around of sorts. It’s a pain in the … though.

Calibre support for the jetBook seems to not take advantage of the hierarchical file system capability. My limited test seem to see both the jetBook and the expansion card as one device, and when I tell it to send it to the card it says there is no car installed. But when I sent it to the device, it puts it in the card in a folder named “books”, ignoring Calibre’s ability to file in folders by author.

In my opinion, the hierarchical file system is one of the best features of the jetBook, and I’m wondering if I used the save to disk feature to removable drive instead would I be able to leverage Calibre’s ability to create folders by author.

I've added this functionality to pluginize. It will appear in 0.6.

Did you try tags starting with "/", these are supposed to allow using folders via Calibre on the Cybook (Sorting the books on the cybook ).

The 0.5.x Jetbook interface supports the / tags for directories. At some point I changed the code for devices that support sub directories to put the books in author/title/title.ext if no / tag if found instead of dumping them into right into the ebook directory. I'm not sure if that code made it into the 0.5.x series but it is in the upcoming 0.6.
