Yes, but the optician said they'll be no good for my eyes. One of my eyes is suitable for laser surgery, but can't stretch to the cost at the moment, so thought an E Reader would be a cheaper option for now! Wish we could get the Kindle here. I even emailed them to see if they can give a release date, but they wouldn't give any info away

I'm glad you said that - I've got one in my hand right now Got it a few hours ago! Just messed about with the text sizes and it's PERFECT for what I want. Need a book now to read, so wish me luck with my first download. Hope it's not hard!!

for this information. I tried on-line with WH Smith's last night, but it said there was a 'more than 4 weeks delay.' It was only £199 though, so I thought I'd (impatiently) wait. Today, I called in at a WH Smith store, and there was one Cybook sat there on the shelf. It was only £175 and included a free case. No hesitations needed there - I bought it and am now the proud owner of the Cybook
. The text size is Brilliant - no more magnifying glass for me now in bed!! Just gonna search for a book now before bed.

Thanks also to everyone else who I haven't personally thanked, but have helped me in making this decision.

So pleased to have found this site too, as I reckon I'll need it now
