I think that you have misunderstood. I have no interest in increasing my micropay balance. A 100% micropay rebate is effectively a BOGOF - Buy One, Get One Free. A very good offer, and one I won't pass up if it's for a book I want.

But there's no point in paying more into the micropay account than absolutely necessary. Consider a (numerically convenient) $100 eBook at 100% micropay

I can pay fictionwise $100 and get $100 added to my micropay or I can apply the 15% discount and pay fictionwise $85 and get $85 added to my micropay. If I later wanted (for any reason) $100 in my micropay, I could just buy $15 micropay for $15.

Applying the discount means I keep $15 in my account instead of in fictionwise's account, until I actually need to spend it. This is a good thing.

Apparently they have been so busy with this one title, the rest of the site isn't being paid attention to. Not only are the new titles showing up late (and disappeared last night, only to re-appear), but the 5% extra rapid-rebate for early ordering wasn't applied to either of my orders last night (both of which were new books, on paypal, one micropay).

I suggest that someone who wants these in MS Reader format email Fictionwise and ask if they rebate will still be on when they arrive.

Fictionwise has made a mistake on the LOTR volumes

The omnibus is listed as book 2 of the series
The Lord of the Rings [Lord of the Rings Series Book 2]

And "The Fellowship of the Ring" is listed as a stand alone book.
The Fellowship of the Ring

Be careful when you buy the set you might end up buying the wrong book.

It's possible. Buy 2 with 100% Micropay. Use that micropay to pay for the 3rd LOTR book and The Hobbit. Should cost you about $23 for the 4 books.
