We're practicing the British approach to polling these days. Much easier to get the dead out to vote if they know they only have to be bothered for a short time.

It takes a bit longer for our Chicago dead to notice there's a poll and get out there and vote. "Vote early; vote often" is harder when you don't know there's a ballot box around.
