Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony. Unfortuantely it's not really available in ebook form but I've contacted him and hope to have that corrected soon.

The BEST fantasy I have read (ever) is the First Blade trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. It is not the usual fantasy, has great dark humor and plenty of action (and blood too).
It starts with The Blade Itself. Highly recommended. |

The Blade Itself, Chapter 1 can be read here:
http://www.joeabercrombie.com/extrac...ade_itself.htm I just read it again, and it is just sooooo much better than the book I am reading right now. I think I am going to toss the current book on the fire (yes its paper ) - Steven Erikson's Gardens of the Moon. I just do not feel like reading it. The writing is confusing, the action is lacking, way too many characters, no humor at all, the characters are boring. |

I just read the chapter, interesting, sure lots of actions.
Gardens of the Moon appeared in my reading list some time ago but I didn't even remember what is about... Thanks a lot everyone! |

I looked up some from my list and lots aren't available. The ones I listed by Dave Duncan and Lawrence Watt-Evans and Robert Silverberg are.

Speaking of fantasy, I am trying to think of a 3 book series, very LoTR like, that all I know about it is the cover art. The paperbook cover art for the first book in the series has a huge full moon just setting on the horizon with the members of the quest all silhouetted against the moon.
Anyone have a clue? Pitiful clue I know. |

Do they even make three-book trilogies anymore?
