Because no one can figure out what a "groaning smiley" would look like?

I find it somehow appropriate that the demonstration uses a shopping catalog, since that seems to be a lot of what the web has turned into.

I suspect the real reason is flimsy, slippy pages - I'd like to see them try it with a proper book!
