I read twilight book one the other day...

And had the same thoughts about it... I won't be bothering with the rest of the series.

With Anita Blake... STOP WHEN YOU GET TO BOOK 8. Pretend the author vanished off the face of the earth. The series just drops straight into a big vat of badly written porn.

 The Anita Blake books are a bit frisky. Shame I can't find them in ePub yet. That's one thing I've found when looking for books I may enjoy, they're few and far between when it comes to horror or if you do find fantasy horror its the fantasy romancey stuff that seems to cater towards bored housewives (No offence if you like it )

Ok I'm coming out of Lurkdom to say hey and enjoy your new Reader!! I got mine last week and I'm now addicted to ebooks. I'm trying to finish up a library book (Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult---HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) Then I will start my ebooks. I had started two library ebooks, and I need to finish those too. But hopefully I can re-check them out, so I can have more time to finish them.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new 505 -- have you found a good ebook library?

I agree Jodi Picoult is really good, I haven't read 'Handle with Care' yet though it is on my to be read list (which is far too long). Since I got my 505, I find I start too many books and then it takes an age to get through them! I must resolve to read one at a time!

yeah I decided I don't want to deal with converting, etc...so I'll stick with the Sony Store, BooksOnBoard, and Fictionwise.

And I started Handle With Care last night and I'm already almost to page 200. I was born with a birth defect myself, though not as severe as the one in this book, and definitely not life threatening, so it kind of hits home with me.

I'd heard of his opinion and well, I really am not impressed. Goes to show that all the stories of society dumbing down may not be false after all. I like fiction to have some words I may not know contained within the pages

How this series ever became a best seller, I will never know.

?
And yet, you read on, storming right through it....

I read that whole series in about 5 minutes. The writing gets a little better each book (not saying much), but the last book was the best.

Pretty accurate review, btw....
