Well there ya' go. But yeah, EVERYTHING was my mother's fault and of course I had numerous dreams about her stabbing me or vice versa.

Anyway....

You know of course the therapist was TELLING me that I was having those dreams. I was just in denial and unwilling to admit it. According to him.

On a more serious note, there was a time back in the 80's when some boneheaded therapists actually created pathology by taking highly suggestable patients and grilling them about having multiple personalities. It used to drive me nuts when a therapist would walk into a staffing and announce she's found yet another multiple. One therapist stated that he had no less than 200 patients with multiple personality and was, in fact a specialist. He was not amused when I asked him how it was that 60% of the North American poplulation of persons with Multiple Personality Disorder were living in Moline, Illinois, population 46,000.

/rant off...

*snort* I know there was a huge issue with "repressed memories". I had one really horrid one that surfaced when I was about 35. I was very upset by it for a few years and finally asked my Uncle and he confirmed that it was indeed true. What a difficult issue!

Well, of course, I got hit by a truck and got food poisoning because of repressed memories of abuse.

Except, they aren't repressed and they have f**k all to do with anything that actually bothers me.

Hey, I'm not the one who was doing that sort of bull roar. I've been aurally assaulted by therapists who want to blame everything on Satanic Ritual Abuse. I know one who would have woven a sad tale for you that would have you believing that you did indeed hist the semi because of the abuse you forgot about because of the programming, yada yada yada... At least for about two seconds before actual reality crashed back to your senses and you told her to bugger off.

Fortunately mine wasn't anything like that. My Dad was very suicidal one time. I had completely blocked it for years and finally asked my Uncle. He is the one who had to physically restrain him.

I realize that. And, I would assume that the same total dick-wad would probably try to convince me that the hail storm that just killed my new car was the result of Satanic Ritual Abuse as well.

I just brought it on myself using my anger directed through my kinetic super powers.

Not feeling all that much better. Haven't eaten anything much since Saturday night ... and still can't, except for a nibble of fruit and grain bars. I think I've kept maybe four of those down since then.

Technically, yes .... I hit the truck. The truck didn't hit me. It just sort of laid itself across the road and blocked my path while I was doing seventy.

You got sentenced to seventy years? What did you do? Do they still have that law about being nice to small furry animals again?
