A few of his ideas are pretty good, but other are a stretch.

i would like to see apps that allow for increased pdf useability e.g. note-taking on pdf's, word search. would the ability to edit word documents be to big of an app?

how about you can only share books with people that you physically come in contact with? this would prevent massive book sharing over the internet and would allow close friends to share books as they would normally.
i however doubt Amazon will ever do that unless competition steps in. they will never want to jeopardize their potential income over convenience for the customers.

I don't think pre-loaded content is really a workable idea. No matter what gets pre-loaded someone is going to be offended or ticked off by being "forced" to read, or pay for, content that goes against their religious, political, social, moral, or even literary beliefs.

You could maybe include some literary classics, but you can easily get those any number of places.

Wow, Godin posted his ideas a year and a half ago. Amazon hasn't yet adopted any of his ideas as far as I can tell.
