Thanks. I have read it but I will read it several more times while I run out the current string over here. I have found some old, 1800s stuff that I was able to send to @free.kindle.com. Now just waiting to load these from the USB cable.
Here in the Philippines where so many locals speak and read english there are many 2nd hand paperback shops but they are all really old books. Cheap but old.
Again, Thanks, my friends!

And you have already found the right place if you have any questions! Leep and desertgrandma have helped me LOTS of times.

You will really enjoy your kindle2. I have kindle1, and am really enjoying it. The library books are terrific. Actually, the ability to keep track of what I am reading via the wishlist is what is best. Ask me what I was reading last week, and I can't tell you. But I WAS reading!

I knew I would go through more than 6 in the 3-week check out period. So I checked out 6, put them on my kindle, then returned them and checked out 6 more. I finished one of the new ones yesterday, and tried to return it. I got an error message from Overdrive. I asked what the problem was, and here is what they said:

Please send our apologies to the patron for the problems that they have
encountered. The patron is experiencing a problem because they have
returned an excessive amount of titles in a short amount of time. Please
ask the patron to try to return the titles again in a couple of days to
see if that resolves the problem. Thank you.

Yes, I deserve it. I was a piggy, and that is why I have an issue. So I will start returning my books AS I READ THEM.

Ok, just get it out of your systems. I deserve it.
Well, I'm back in. I was locked out Wednesday night to Saturday night. But I was able to return 1 book on Saturday night (didn't try to return any more, although I have read 3) and 1 book today.

You're lucky, my local library has 436 ebooks in PDF and PRC. The PRC ones can't be returned early so I have to wait for the two weeks to elapse.

I shouldn't complain my Mom's local libary only has netLibrary which has nothing either one of us likes to read.
