I mean that if you choose any reader other than the amazon kindle. you better pick it because you want a specific feature of that reader.

Kindle has the Store, the only Con is its Large Size

700 has the Intergated Light and Small Form Factor
505, Small Form Factor
Irex Devices, Large Screens
The Rest of the Devices, all have a Pro or a Con at Random, mainly dealing with formats, Cons are they ussually dont connect to a store.


No Ebook store can compete with Amazon. Sonys Store is gonna Fail unless they Pour a whole ton of money into it. only amazon is truely investing.

So if i had to call a winner, Amazon is the Winner. with all the new devices, Amazon is still the winner. I dont know how long Amazon will Keep their store Proprietary. but my guess is not long, they already branched out to Ipod/Iphone. Other Ereaders should happen within the next 2 years. No idea how long till they go DRM free, but i know it will eventually.
