Did you download from Stanza, or my site? (They should be identical files, at any case, unless they've made some change to it at Lexcycle.)

Just checked the Lexcycle page, where they say they've fixed this problem. (No details on what went wrong, of course!)

It was probably a PEBKAC or a PICNIC error.

Honestly, I had to look them up! I was familiar with the phrases, though... just not the acronyms.

Well, I dodged the "PEBKAC or PICNIC error" on the Stanza download front (*they* had messed it up, not me).

But, as to Steve's site, I'm a words person, not a visual/icon person, so it was a PICNIC issue! :-)

I read the captions under each icon and didn't see ePub or Stanza listed! "Digital Editions" didn't mean anything to me and my brain never even processed the icons, including the one with the ePub in it! I even downloaded the eReader and RTF versions, figuring I could read them in eReader or iSilo on the iPod Touch, without ever focusing on the icons themselves.

So, that's one for the cognitive scientists! :-)

Hmm... something to think about. As I am now deeply immersed in a site redesign, I'll give more thought to how I present the formats, and try to do something much clearer in SJB3. (Glad you found it anyway!)
