Alternate to Sony Library Software for the 500/505/700
If you want a really great "donationware" replacement for the Sony Library software, try Calibre.
It is updated by the developer almost daily, he's open to suggestions for improvement/add-ons to the software and, most importantly, it lets you do so much stuff with your library that Sony never thought of. the url is calibre.kovidgoyal.net I've been using the software since I first bought my 700, and it's terrific!
