You think it would be easier to contact Amazon and return the accessories instead of demanding a Kindle 1 or taking them to court

1.4 GB will be enough for any of the customers they want to attract (people buying exclusively from the Amazon store, not people with GBs of graphic novels or books from other places)

Is the missing case that big of a deal? I heard the one that came with the Kindle 1 was poor quality and the new one seems much better thanks to the redesigned hooks...even if it's an extra $30

For there to be a case of fraud, Amazon would need to have taken money from K1 orderers. This is not the case. Amazon does not charge the customers' credit card until the item is ready for shipping. All K1 orderers from December forward are given ample opportunity to cancel their order if they are unsatisfied with the change.
