Yes. Converting from LIT to LRF is a "lossless" conversion - you'll lose no formatting by doing so.

You can always download Project Gutenberg books in Sony LRF format from www.coolfreebooks.com. I also live in the UK and have produced a one click converter so you can simply select your book from the database by using a search. It will then be delivered to you in LRF format. I intend to extend this to produce other formats but for the time being it just delivers LRF.

Regards,

Trevor

1 betwixt 2, I forsee trouble ahead - you'd better get another .....

For me I have been getting Mobipocket or the Ereader format and converting... though I did not realise Microsoft format was a loseless conversion!

I have to admit I also like Fictionwise. I particularily like the idea of the rebates
I have built up enough now to get a few books for free. Well worth it for those hard to fingd books. One thing I really hate though is the annoying way ebooks are priced. Always seems to high to me. Surely like music they could find other ways of reducing the price. I also agree that there is not enough choice. I have to ask "how can a book go outbof print when it hasn't been printedbin the first place.
