True if you're writing. If you're just reading then setting it lower would be useful. What setting works best depends a lot on how you're using the device.

iRex (finally) delivered

Looks like iRex finally did the job.

They've fixed pretty much all of the 'issues' I was experiencing with the device and those were some serious issues.
The device was unacceptable to most people but with this FW it is now a great product.

So iRex team, I can imagine you've been suffering under all the criticism, it isn't easy to work on firmware upgrades and not be able to communicate about them while you're getting so much flames and whilst knowing you've got something good in the back-burner, but I believe that criticism will be over now. I do suggest however that you send the device back to the original reviewers because I've read some really poor reviews and although they were probably correct at the time they are not so anymore.

Some people over on the iRex forums are reporting more than that. Remember that they said it'll take a full charge/discharge cycle before some of the new battery code gets calibrated. So the first time you use it after updating to 1.5 won't necessarily be an accurate reflection.
