god no, cookies are accepted as currency in very few shops and by surprisingly few landlords.

i do actually have some cookies (yep, i bought some). but of course, bought cookies are usually not as good as made cookies.

i'm just mentioning it, in case anybody is wondering. purely as an abstract piece of information, you know.

Just wanted to be really upfront with you about that point.

oh, i know, i know. but it's a real ordeal to do any kind of complex cooking project around here (complex = more than 3 ingredients, more than one cooking utensil, any heavy mixing), because 1. minuscule kitchen with quite literally no working space, 2. minuscule oven which requires you to bake your cookies 4 at a time.

it takes hours.

i do make a (small) batch from time to time though. the simpler the recipe, the better. i'm open to suggestions, by the way.

Any food that hits the floor can be picked up and eaten if grabbed up in less than 3 seconds. (I think we have a 5 second rule).

With doggies in the house, you're lucky anything hits the floor.
