You can…. But it takes some creative use of JS. I’m pretty sure RbnJrg posted an example or two on here demonstrating the technique. At the time it was of limited use due to ePub 3 requirement, but would be much more widely supported now.

This is strictly intended as a theoretical clarification on RbnJrg's post regarding the pitfalls of "inline-block"-ing long blocks of text. I'm still confused as to how an "inline-block" with a height (or row-count) that exceeds the screen size of device would be displayed; i would've thought it would result in a critical display failure.
