This topic will be discussed in chapter 4 of my work-in-progress. (I start working on Chapter 3 tomorrow morning, (God willing and the creeks don't rise.)

Same here. 43 to read and every time I start a book there are two more showing up I´d be interested in as well - either in the upload section on MR or in one of those newsletters you get from ebook sellers.

And my poll.
Do you need someone to look after your poll? Someone trustworthy? Someone unbiased? Someone innocent?

You can read in bars if you use a good booklight. Problem solved!

I had this same problem last year when I first got my EBW1150. I'm a slow reader with limited reading time. I keep 2 or 3 books on the 505. Lilac, take the pressure off yourself, slow down, and take the time to luxuriate in the pleasure of reading. Just because they are free, it doesn't mean they are all going to be good. Read the best and forget the rest.
