KLC Cutting off characters in kEpub

Removing the negative margin declarations in CSS made a big difference. Additionally Kobo is passing this issue onto the publisher

Indeed that's crazy on a production ebook.
I've experimented with -ve margins, but only in azw3 on a Kindle for my own use (and about -1.6% seems to work on multiple Kindles). Never in an epub.

The book seems to be a calibre 7.4.0 conversion to ePub of an Amazon KF8/azw3 version of the ebook going by the metadata and CSS stylesheets. Overall, not a pretty sight.

That is exactly the problem. I changed it to margin: 0; and it worked.

Another thing I did to fix this book was to remove all of the line height in CSS.

In body there is line-height: 1.575em !important; which is too much.

and if you want to fix the paragraph spaces, change p to

p {
  widows 1;
  orphans 1;
}

This book failed epubcheck with two minor errors.
