It looks like the EINK might be stuck to the front glass with some adhesive. I'm probably going to have to do some serious disassembly, and then make a new bezel too. Sigh. A project for the weekend.

I just bought the X4, I'm still waiting to receive it, and they just announce the Pro 😞
I don't need the X4, so I don't know if i will be able to justify myself a newer model. Now if it was a X5 but with the form factor of the Kobo Mini or the Sony 350, and light to read in tunnels when I commute...
Oh well, who I'm kidding, if the alternate software has the features I like I'm going to get it later. I've been waiting to get the X4 until I read about crumBLE. Collections and covers where lacking on CrossInk

Looks like I can't order the X4 Pro. It seems they.....

1) Don't accept a debit card
2.) Or flagged me for being in Peru (although my debit card is from my hometown bank with whom I've had an account with for about 30 years.
3) VPN was on. Then I turned it off just to see if that would work. NOTHING.

I suppose it could be for any of the reasons above, or a combination of those reasons above, or for no reasons above.

I was all geared up to get this little sucker.

I clicked on the "where we ship to" list and I didn't see any South American countries listed, so it may not have been personal

You're not annoying me....I just don't use Paypal for anything...although I will sometimes have a publisher who pays me using paypal.

It's always been easier to use my Debit Card for everything: Amazon, Kobo, and the times I've purchased something in Canada. I have yet to have that card denied for any reason, so I was a bit flabbergasted when it was denied for some unknown reason. As this morning advances, I'll see if there's some kind of International Hold on my card.

I've always used my sister's address (in the U.S.) for anything shipped. She then ships it to me and I reimburse her.

But ----- I though I saw a huge list of places they don't ship to. I"m going back to there website and see if I can locate that page.

Here's the list of countries they DO ship to, which does not affect me, since I only have items ordered sent to my sister - and never direct to Peru, She then ships to me, after which I reimburse her.
