Well, that’s because your firmware doesn’t meet the lowest firmware requirement.

Try other Jb methods like WatchThis or KindleBreak. I forgot which one fits

You must enable JavaScript ... Press3 dots to enable. According to the device Java is enabled, tried turning java off and back on, but still get the same error. Re-installed the firmware, same result.

If I go to skyvincent/scroll I get a blank page, no matter how long I wait

I've tried other jailbreaks Winterbreak, Winterbreak2 etc, but none of them work. No error message, just same Kindle software when I re-start.

I'm beginning to think Javascript is not working on this device. Is that possible, is there anything I can to to try and fix it?

Sanxtuary is 5.16.4 and up. Choose a different jailbreak.
