Many thanks. I too am having issues with news. Thought it was something I was doing wrong since I'm new to Calibre. But followed instructions in help and Calibre job just runs and runs. The progress shows "waiting" like none of the links are working.

OK, I ran into a serious problem today.
I schedule regular downloads of the a few newspapers per day, and magazines for today (Monday). It downloaded the lot (newspapers and magazines) over and over and over... |

Happened again this morning, didn't capture the debug, sorry. On the upside the network was down so it produced 114 empty files. I'm running 0.4.134.

Hmm start calibre as
calibre-debug -g 2>&1 > log That way all output will be automatically logged so that if/when it happens again, you can easily capture the log. |
