Death Match and Deep Storm are two other excellent books from Lincoln Child. He also wrote books with Douglas Preston... I have read them all and they are excellent...

Has anyone read all 8 preview chapters? Is it looking like a good story?
I haven't read them yet as I am currently half way through Martian Race by Gregory Benford.
I see that the cheapest prices for the book by far are the Kindle Store at $9.99 and the Sony store at $11.99. All the rest are between $17 and $24.95.

Yeah, me too. Sony hooks me all the time. I downloaded and read Tess Gerritson's first novel (The Surgeon) for free. Now, damn it, I'm hooked!

Well, that was a bit of good luck. I was just about to buy Terminal Freeze from the Sony shop and I noticed that BooksOnBoard had dropped their price for the epub and pdf versions down to $11.89 with $3 of reward dollars back.
It doesn't look like the other formats lit and mobi are being subsidised as they are still around $20.

The description of Terminal Freeze has a King Kong feel to it. I'll be reading it once I am able to borrow the eBook from the library. I have it on reserve.

I did read the The Surgeon and really enjoyed it. Then I read the second book in the series. But not yet the third. I skipped to a couple of her older books that are now published two to a book. And they were also quite good. Eventually, I'll get back to reading more of Tess's books.
