Although, I see it as their problem, not yours. If they are not saying what they mean to say ... they need to learn to communicate. If they are flat out misstating the facts, then they need to get to know the competitor's products a little better.

For one thing, he refers to the Kindle and Sony screens as "LCD" ... which I do not believe e-ink is. It is glass, and it would be nice to have a reader with a screen that would not be likely to break if dropped, or if something was dropped on it. But again, having a glass cover to the screen does not necessarily mean it is an LCD screen.

And .... gee ... right, BOb ... the contrast doesn't change on e-ink when you hold the screen at different angles. Could it be because it's NOT LCD??

It just annoys me when people who are supposed to have at least some understanding of technology prove to be "just" salesmen.

what's the deal with this papyrus device ?
It looks like a plastic white background, with a TFT layer on front!

I bet it saves battery too, since it makes no use of a background light.
But it doesn't save as much as e-ink.
Then again, the response time is faster (<5ms), and has color!

Once this device will be released, (probably around 2010 as well) will people still have ears (or eyes)for the plastic reader?
