Thanks for recording your experience. I have an old Aura HD (similar to the H2O) and it was running 4.35.20400. It was "laggy." Not two seconds but, when turning the page you would have to wait and you could "watch" the page change. I downgraded to 4.34.20097 (literally one version difference) and H2O is now much more responsive. (Like you, in the Menus also.) So this may work on other older Kobos as well.

Same here. Thanks again. What's funny is that my remaining Touch is probably older, but it handles 4.35.x without issue. So it must have been something specific in the Aura HD / H2O(?).

EDIT: Looks like they both use the same CPU (Freescale i.MX507 1GHZ).
