It's probably not mounted in recovery.
I don't know if you can access that in the normal system if you're not rooted.

In recovery:

# mount -t ext4 /dev/block/by-name/metadata /metadata
# cd /metadata/ota
# ls -Rl

Hey Renate. Sorry for wasting your time. There's no problem with your recovery. It's something with my leaf2_p all along. After using edl to flash the backup, I use the Boox recovery to flash a leaf2_p update.zip. After that I flash your custom rec, flash Leaf2 update.zip. It runs without problem

Mine is on Leaf2 firmware now. The storage is still 64gb. Thank you so much Renate

I'm glad that it worked out.

Still, I would have appreciated if you had done the listing of /metadata/ota first.
Then I could have learned where the problem was.

I can try your rec on another Leaf2_p to see if it works smooth and come back with the autolog? Since mine is on Leaf2 now and im happy with that

Did you download the Firehose for the Leaf2?
Then you need to upload it with "edl /lwhatever" and then flash recovery.

Ok looks like I can't see signatures yet but I did find your edl page. The Leaf2_P seems to have recovery_a and recovery_b partitions instead of just recovery. I dumped these two as images and they're not identical according to MD5 hash. Which partition should be flashed with your recovery?

Well, you're on B slot right now so you only need to flash recovery_b.
But you could just flash both when you don't know.
