I also turned on this patch for the first time now. Should probably look at libnickel, or wait geek1011.

@Semwize, I'm not sure why you think BaseAddress: 0x1999992 isn't working for this patch.

This is what I see on a Libra2 when I wake it up from sleep after I've set a PIN code. That's working, isn't it, i.e. absence of "Forgot your PIN? Sign Out" message at the bottom of the screen.

Offset 0x19A150A would be correct if you wanted to increase the bar chart height for an Audiobook (i.e. patching AudioMenuStatsView.qss), but offset 0x19948BA is correct for a similar increase for a kepub (i.e. patching ReadingMenuStatsView.qss).

This is another example of 2 nickel CSS resources using very similar code, hence the confusion.

ETA: Don't worry if you already used the wrong one, it's probably just harmlessly patched a GUI screen you haven't looked at - and possibly never will.

Since the offset was indicated in the patch, for some reason I would be sure that we are talking about the second offset. Otherwise, FindZlib would be used.
It turned out to be the first one after all. I should have checked. But there was no time or desire to do this.

One patch would appear to be not working on my Sage:

I first tried the two separate patches, and then the combined one, but the end result is the same, as shown in the attached image. kobopatch doesn't fail, and the other patches I enabled all seem to be working, how do I get this one to work?

I didn't get as far as actually updating my Kobos, because I learned that the 2024 dictionary was worse than the 2019 one, and there was nothing else in the update I wanted. I drew the conclusion about my patches working after running the .bat file, as usually there's an error when something doesn't work.

I would also like to know if the patch is not working on all Sages or only yours, for some reason. So perhaps I'm going to update my Sage, after all.

The dictionary is independent from the upgrade; it was made available to be updated via the standard WiFi sync / install of dictionaries well before the newest firmware.

Not only that, if it's so important just save a copy pre it being upgraded and install it as a custom dictionary.

Yes, but why go to the trouble of updating the firmware and patching again when you gain nothing interesting or useful from doing so? It's just a lot of extra work for nothing.
