I am rather amused by the not putting your ereader in it's sleeve vs. failing to close the cover whether a sleep cover or not discussion.
I would suspect that anyone capable of posting on these forums would not need to have those options pointed out. |

I use some protection like the original Kobo sleepcover but from another brand.
It's more to protect it from dust than a fall. It gets dusty in the room (never understood why it gets so dusty, anyway...). If it wasn't necessary, I wouldn't have put it. It bothers me a bit when reading. |

Hypothesization, your honour! No facts have been supplied to support that contention! The witness' statement should be stricken from the record. Perhaps a couple of stripes from the cat to remind 'im that his opinions are not facts.

I do admit I put my ereader down (or rather, on the desk) quite often without a sleeve, if I know I'm going to continue reading soon. And I have three cats. They never climb or jump on that desk, though. And if I know I'm not going to read again any time soon, I'll put the ereader away in its sleeve.

A bit different from Jon's statement that he always closes the cover when he is done reading. Personally, I tend to close the sleep cover when I pause reading. For instance, I'll read while watching a sports event since there are so many commercial breaks and other breaks in the action so I can easily fit in quite a few minutes of reading while not missing a second of the action.
