The dimensions of the Poke5 and the Go6 are exactly the same.

If the security on the Go6 has been tightened over the Poke5, then the Poke5 is the end of the line for me.

Do you have ADB working?
Can you check a few things?

I'd really like to see you try with EDL.
I can help you find a Firehose loader.
If you have that all working you can make a complete raw backup of your device that will allow you to return to this time point no matter what updates or screwups occur.

You can use my Windows EDL client or the bkerler Python one.
Either of those work with the Zadig WinUsb driver (not the Qualcomm one).
See the instructions on my website.

Then without a Firehose loader you need to press the power button for 10 seconds to reboot.

I went looking for a Go6 in MediaMarkt.
Of course they only had Kindle, Tolino and Remarkable.

I've ordered my Pokes by mail in the US.
Right now I'm not in the US and a moving target so I can't order it shipped.

Hey, wait a minute...

I see two big high street retailers in Germany (MediaMarkt & Saturn) who are selling the Go6 with 16GB advertised. I've seen from the Poke5 that Onyx has gone with PCB layout and jumpers so that the RAM and flash sizes can be easily configured. Is there more than one size of the Go6 or is this just typos?

I also see that the Go6 has an accelerometer to measure turning. For me, I don't find this that useful as I often read on my side.

Yes, 16 GB "flash" memory (we haven't settled whether it's eMMC or UFS yet).

The photo is from a Poke5.
Obviously you can't just switch the jumper to get more flash or RAM.
You have to have the correct chips soldered in.
