I am so far quite happy with the e-book formatting of the ebook downloads at manybooks.net (I have used Plucker, Mobipocket and Adobe PDF on Palm Treo).
As far the usability of the web sites is concerned, I vastly prefer the manybooks.net web site for myself. |

I like the MobileRead books the best for my kindle, except that sometimes the metadata for the author and title do not sort correctly. I have a question, though. I am "co-reading" books with a friend of mine. I am reading on the kindle. She is reading on an iphone. I just downloaded HarryT's beautifully illustrated "Sense and Sensibility". Can my friend also download from MobileRead, or is she forced to stay with Feedbooks? She is using Stanza.
Thanks, k4k |

k4k, your friend should be able to read the mobipocket version by downloading Stanza.

I suggest converting the MOBI version to ePub using Calibre. The result looks good using Calibre's own viewer and Adobe Digital Editions. I don't know how well it will work on the iPhone using Stanza (but ePub is definitely the format to use).

Munseys is better for Kindle users than Manybooks and is the same sort of site. The Manybooks Kindle download has a flaw in its metadata, omitting the author name in your Kindle. The Munseys "mobipocket/Kindle" download gets it right. Munsey may have a marginally smaller library than Manybooks but not by much, and there is some exclusive content there.
